| My name is Andy, i was born in New Zealand in Christchurch but moved to England (and the cold) when i was 4. I always enjoyed art as a child, the messier the better, and i've continued to paint and draw to this day. If you look realy closely you may see that 99% of my paintings are animals- this is because im a great fan of them, i'd go as far to say i admire them greatly; if you dont mind me getting abit philosophical i'll explain why. We, as a race are rarely content with what we have, we want new, bigger, better things and to be honest we dont need them. We think these are the things that bring us joy but its shortlived, a new mobile is great for a week and then its not new, its ordinary. In contrast to this there are animals, they live lives pretty much without material possesions and i believe they can find true happyness easier than we. Take my cat for example, all he needs is Food and a home and he's as happy as possible. |
